I received my refurbished kindle fire yesterday. After messing around with Windows programs all day like KFU through my VM, I stumbled on this script/app. AWESOME! As a Mac user for years, I’m so happy to have a mac app for this. Gave me root, gave me recovery, allowed me access for the market. Now I was gonna disable otasilentupdate.apk but it is no longer on my device? Did your script kill it? If so, props to you professor!

I think they may have done away with it. However BreakDroid does disable the root checker.
